Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty.  Our April Vows That Wow couple is Rosa & Patrick. Their wedding weekend in Miami Beach was a true celebration of love, ⁠filled with show-stopping style, heartfelt moments, and a level of luxury only Miami could deliver.

How The Couple Met

Rosa & Patrick both live and work in New York City and they met through an introduction from a mutual friend at a party in the city.  Patrick describes when he met Rosa,  it was “Love at First Sight” — pure, effortless, and enduring — the kind of beginning that only the heart can truly recognize.

The Wedding Celebrations

When planning their perfect wedding, Miami Beach captured their hearts instantly. With its vibrant energy, stunning ocean views, and timeless glamour, it offered everything they dreamed of — and more. To kick off their destination wedding weekend, the couple planned two unforgettable events that perfectly captured the spirit of Miami Beach. Guests were treated to a vibrant rooftop welcome party, as they mingled with cocktails in hand & the sounds of laughter & music setting a festive mood.  Their laid-back beach party took center stage, with guests lounging under umbrellas, enjoying refreshing drinks, and soaking up the Miami sun — the perfect prelude to the big day ahead.

For the guest accommodations, pre ceremony photography, & wedding reception, the couple selected the luxurious Faena Hotel in Miami Beach — a venue that perfectly blended elegance with a sense of vibrant Miami energy. Guests stayed in beautifully appointed rooms, each offering breathtaking views of the ocean or the city skyline, while the couple enjoyed a lavish bridal suite with panoramic views, setting the tone for a weekend of unforgettable moments. The hotel’s iconic aesthetic — with its striking art-deco touches and glamorous flair — provided the ideal backdrop for their wedding photographer & videographer, The Lockhart’s to capture timeless, intimate moments.

The couple chose St. Frances De Sales Catholic Church in Miami for their wedding ceremony, a place that offered both a sense of sacred tradition and timeless beauty. After the ceremony, the evening unfolded with the cocktail hour at the hotel’s stunning outdoor tropical garden & their reception in the hotel’s grand ballroom was nothing short of spectacular, with exquisite dining, a live band, and a beautifully designed space that reflected the couple’s chic, modern taste. From start to finish, Faena Hotel set the stage for a celebration that was both luxurious and unforgettable.

Rosa stunned in a breathtaking white Monique Lhuillier gown adorned with delicate floral appliqués, perfectly complemented by her sleek, romantic hairstyle. Her bridesmaids in a vivid palette of fuchsia and tangerine, their dresses radiating energy and modern glamour against the hotel’s iconic tropical murals. Patrick looked classic and polished in a timeless black tuxedo, creating a picture-perfect match with his radiant bride.

Their wedding reception was a true celebration of heritage and heart, where Greek and Italian traditions came together in a beautiful, joyful traditional dance. The reception was truly elevated by the incredible floral artistry from Petal Productions. Every detail, from the lush arrangements to the vibrant color palette—brought the space to life in the most breathtaking way. The room shots say it all, capturing a design that left us completely in awe. As the evening unfolded, guests gathered around the dance floor, celebrating as the newlyweds led the way — It was more than just dancing — it was a living tribute to the love, history, and joy that had brought everyone together on this unforgettable night. The wedding didn’t end when the reception concluded — in true Miami fashion, the celebration continued with an epic afterparty that had everyone partying until the early hours.  Guests were treat to late night bites and exquisite sweet from Bergoderi Stylish Desserts leaving a lasting impression of indulgence and celebration.

Rosa & Patrick’s Favorite Detail’s

The couple reflected on their epic wedding weekend and remembered that dancing and singing with their band, Tropics Entertainment, was one of their most cherished memories of the reception evening.  Rosa stated “the band was absolutely incredible and it was the PEAK of the night, which led us into the most incredible afterparty.”

They also added, “with three nights of events to capture, we had a clear vision for our wedding photos, from family portraits to intimate couple shots and candid moments. The Lockhart’s truly understood our vision, taking the time to listen to every detail and ensure that our ideas came to life. Their attentiveness and thoughtfulness were evident throughout the entire process, even going above and beyond by providing carefully selected mood music to enhance each photo session. They made every moment feel special and memorable.”

As the weekend came to a close, the couple reflected on what had truly been an unforgettable destination wedding experience in Miami Beach. From the stunning welcome parties to the heartfelt ceremony at St. Frances De Sales, and the glamorous reception at the Faena Hotel, every moment felt like a dream come true. Surrounded by family and friends, they celebrated their love in a city that perfectly captured their vision of elegance, fun, and romance.
