Vows that Wow – Kindra & Erving

Week after week, our team has the joy of receiving and sharing stunning weddings from across Miami, all thanks to the incredibly talented vendors and wonderful couples who submit their celebrations to us. Each month, our editorial team selects one standout wedding to spotlight — a day that truly shines for its creativity, personality, and unforgettable details.

This month, we’re thrilled to feature Kindra and Erving’s beautiful Miami wedding. The couple celebrated their wedding on February 6, 2026, and their celebration was nothing short of a wow from start to finish.

Their Love Story

Some love stories begin with a grand gesture. Others begin in the hallways of high school, quietly, with no idea of the future they are quietly building toward. For Kindra and Erving, it was the latter. A friendship formed in 2011 that never fully let go.

They went their separate ways, as young people do, but kept the thread. Then in 2021, after a decade of life lived in between, they found their way back to each other in person, finally, and for good. The rest became the wedding you see here.

The Wedding Day

When it came time to celebrate, Kindra and Erving knew exactly what kind of wedding they wanted: one that reflected them fully. She is Haitian; he is Dominican. Together, they are two proud Caribbean heritages under one roof and their wedding was designed to honor that beautifully.

We asked Kindra if she had any wedding planning advice and she says “Trust the process and have fun planning.”

From the first course to the final dance, the Caribbean spirit was woven into every detail. Guests were treated to a menu of Caribbean cuisine, and the energy on the dance floor reached another level when a Kompa band took the stage, filling the room with the rhythms of their roots. It was not just a wedding. It was a cultural celebration, a joyful fusion of everything that makes Kindra and Erving, them.

Kindra describes her favorite memories from the wedding day as the series of firsts: the first look that stole her breath, the first reveal, the first dance shared as a married couple, the first bite savored together. In those moments, a decade of friendship, of reconnection, of choosing each other crystallized into something real and permanent.

Standout Vendor Spotlight

This wedding day would not have been possible without the long list of incredible vendors who poured their hearts and talent into Kindra and Erving’s celebration. A few stood out to us in particular and deserve a special highlight. The florals, designed by Petal Productions, were nothing short of breathtaking. Lush, cascading greenery transformed the space into something that felt both elevated and alive, organic in the most intentional way. MPE Event Group transformed the space with custom installations including specialty flooring, staging, oversized photo enlargements, and bespoke branding, giving the celebration an atmosphere that felt entirely its own.

Of course, none of it would have come together without their incredible planner, Tica Rose Events. The bride herself told us that her planner was the most valuable part of the entire process. “Tica was there from day one and I couldn’t have planned my dream wedding without her.” And honestly, that says it all. That is how you create a truly unforgettable wedding day.
