Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty.  Our very first Vows That Wow couple is Jade & Christian.  A wedding at Nikki Beach is more than just an event; it’s a celebration of love in one of the most beautiful and iconic locations in Miami.  This beachfront venue combines luxury, romance, and a laid-back vibe that was the perfect setting for their unforgettable wedding weekend.

How The Couple Met

Jade is from Los Angeles, California and Christian is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They met in New York through mutual friends, dated and lived together in  Brooklyn before making their way to the west coast to San Diego where we currently live.   This east coast- west coast couple chose a destination wedding in beautiful Miami Beach to celebrate with family and friends who flew in for a weekend long celebration.

The Wedding Day

Jade & Christian had the most perfect South Beach weather for their Spring wedding.  There was plenty of sunshine and blue skies as the couple got ready at the adjacent Continuum luxury high rise.  They enjoyed a relaxing and carefree morning where Jade and her bridesmaids had brunch and were glammed by their team of beauty professionals from The Clyque.  The team paired natural makeup with soft, romantic hairstyles for a soft beachy look to enhance each woman’s beauty.  The couple opted for an all-white bridesmaid party accompanied by light tan and white suites for the groomsmen,  a bold yet timeless choice that exudes sophistication, unity, and a touch of ethereal charm. This cohesive and elegant palette complements their wedding theme for simplicity and romance.  The couples first looks were on the lush grounds of Continuum, where they enjoyed the fun and laughter of their photoshoot before their formal ceremony in the white sands of Nikki Beach.  The cocktail hour and dinner were quintessential south beach with a vibrant atmosphere and exceptional cuisine.

Jade & Christians Favorite Details

“Our goal was to have the most fun on the day of our wedding. Something that felt like us, very casual with lots of food and drinks. We did not want a traditional wedding with a formal dinner or speeches. We wanted to throw a big party that our guests would enjoy with a lot of entertainment (fire dancers and champagne fairy) so that everyone could let loose and dance the night away. Our favorite part was sipping espresso martinis and smoking cigars in the sand and then heading upstairs to dance with all our closest friends and family.”

Their wedding planner Valeria Daldi, with JV Wedding Planning reflected on working with the couple to help curate each and every detail, brining Jades vision to life.  She said “They really wanted to make the guest experience the top priority, so that was a big focus.  Jade was an amazing bride to work with!
