Each month, our editorial team selects one spectacular wedding to highlight, one that stands above the rest for its uniqueness and beauty. Our February Vows That Wow couple is Isis & Daniel. Their wedding was a dream straight out of a bygone era—filled with timeless romance, delicate lace, and golden antique details. From the soft candlelit ambiance to the classic Rolls-Royce, every detail was a nod to old-world charm.
The Couple
Isis & Daniel are high school sweethearts, both born and raised in Miami and lived only a few streets apart growing up! Daniel proposed during a trip to the Amalfi Coast at Villa Cimbrone in May 2023. She was completely surprised when she thought they were going for breakfast at the Villa, and he proposed in the most incredible setting. Her sister had two dresses shipped directly to the Villa so she could change after the proposal for their romantic engagement photo shoot.
Isis is the owner of a boutique marketing studio in Miami, catering to an exclusive clientele of luxury lifestyle and design brands. She works very closely with her sister, Iris Scavo, who is the owner of Fleur de Marsca a luxury wedding & event florist. Fleur de Marsca is renowned for creating breathtaking floral designs that blend romance, artistry, and timeless elegance. Iris reflected that “designing my little sisters wedding florals, will forever be my greatest honor. With the dedication from our incredible floral team and the most talented vendors, Isis’ dream wedding came to life. From the very beginning of Fleur de Marsca, Isis has been by my side. So when it was finally her turn to be the bride, it felt like the most beautiful full-circle moment—one we had unknowingly been preparing for all along. Every wedding we work on together is meaningful, but this one was different. This time, I wasn’t just designing for a bride; I was designing for my sister, for someone who has poured her heart into helping me build my own dream.”
The Wedding Day
The couple started with a traditional church wedding at the beautiful St. Hugh Catholic Church. Nestled in the heart of Coconut Grove, this beautiful church is known for its stunning stained-glass windows, grand architecture, and intimate yet elegant atmosphere.
Their reception followed at the stunning Trump National Doral Miami. This venue offers an exquisite setting for weddings, combining timeless elegance with modern luxury. Spanning nearly 800 acres, the resort features lush tropical landscapes, serene fountains, and secluded gardens, providing a picturesque backdrop for their photographs, reception and after party.
Their talented photography & videography team, The Cardonas, captured each beautiful moment of their special day. Their approach focuses on storytelling and authentic love, ensuring each wedding is documented with meticulous attention to detail. They used three different cameras for Isis & Daniel’s wedding day. Using point and shoot 35mm film with flash, medium format film with natural light & digital camera with natural light, ensured the couple had traditional digital photos, but also film photos that authentically captured the vintage vibe of their wedding theme.
The Couples Favorite Moments
Isis & Daniel’s love story unfolded in a setting that felt like a fairytale—her gown, a stunning masterpiece of intricate lace; his suit, dapper with a touch of retro flair. Together, they danced the night away, surrounded by the warmth of family and friends.
