The Wed Society | Miami Connect Event was an unforgettable celebration of the creativity, passion, and collaboration that define the Miami wedding community. Hosted at the breathtaking Penthouse Riverside Wharf, the evening offered an inspiring atmosphere where luxury wedding vendors came together to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen the community that drives our local wedding industry.
The evening kicked off with a stylish cocktail hour, featuring live music by solo guitarist Rudy Lafrance, setting the perfect tone as guests entered a space that had been transformed into a visual work of art. The team at Tailored Twig delivered an extraordinary display of floral design and event production, creating a luxurious atmosphere that showcased their creative expertise and left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance. Exclusive Floral Supply help the team execute their vision which required nearly 15,000 stems of stunning florals. The Lounge Design team elevated the event experience with their impeccable collection of lounge furniture, tables, chairs, and custom bars. Their thoughtfully curated pieces added a layer of sophistication and comfort, perfectly complementing the event’s luxury aesthetic. Every element—from the stylish seating areas to the statement bar setups—was a testament to their keen eye for design and commitment to creating unforgettable event spaces.
Every corner of the indoor & outdoor event was thoughtfully curated. Kulgra brought the Wed Society Miami brand experience to life with their exceptional custom event theme design, vinyl wraps, elegant signage, and hand crafted decor pieces & accents that seamlessly tied together the event’s luxury aesthetic. Allie’s attention to detail played a key role in creating a polished, immersive atmosphere that had guests mesmerized. Nuage Designs provided an exquisite selection of high-end linens that added texture, elegance, and sophistication to every table. Complementing the linens perfectly, Different Look Rentals curated a stunning array of tableware—elegant dinnerware, gorgeous glassware and stunning gold flatware—that elevated the dining experience and added a refined touch to the overall design. Casa Ko Miami’s beautiful bridal arch adorned the interior with a gorgeous lighted glow, providing a creative selfie backdrop for guests.
Our VIP guests mingled, while the culinary team at Table For Two Events & Catering delighted with delicious passed hors d’oeuvres and elevated live pasta stations. The Speakeasies delivered an unforgettable bar experience with their handcrafted cocktail service, adding a layer of sophistication and flair to the evening. Let Them Have Cake Miami added the sweetest touch to our event with their deliciously crafted and stylish desserts.
We had the pleasure to hear welcome & opening remarks from Wed Society Co-Founder Ashley Murphy, who’s heartfelt message spoke of the organizations 17+ year journey from mid-west foundational roots to todays growing national brand. Speaking of the Wed Society mission to serve as the heartbeat of the wedding community, fostering a vibrant network of couples, wedding professionals, and others intimately involved in bringing weddings to life in extraordinary ways.
As part of our commitment to inspire and empower the Miami wedding community, our event featured an exclusive expert panel discussion designed especially for industry professionals. Bringing together some of the most respected voices in the business. Guests had the unique opportunity to learn from Christopher Plaza, visionary and creative director of The Bride Candy, Carmen Davila-Hernandez, certified wedding and event planner and owner of Events by Carmen, Talented Miami Videographer Jesse Colon, Jesse Colon Films, Lorena Sliva, Director or Sales & Business Development at A Joy Catering, and Co-Owner of MPE Event Group, Vanessa Naranjo. this powerhouse panel offered invaluable insights on current trends, business growth, and the evolving landscape of luxury weddings.
To close out the programming portion of the evening, Danny Violinist helped the Miami Wedding Week Team unveil the theme for this year’s Bridal Fashion Show. Wed Society Miami is thrilled to partner with the planning team and host our Miami Book of Weddings magazine release party during the 2025 Miami Wedding Week in September.
Infinity Sound Production set the tone for an unforgettable afterparty with their expert sound, lighting, and event production. Tony The Hitman brought the party and kept the custom Wrap My Floor dance floor packed and the celebration alive while guests captured candid moments in the custom photobooth provided by Kulgra & Xpress Entertainment.
Madeline Paige Photography, along with a talented team of content creators, Val Your Content Gal & Memory Hotline, beautifully captured every unforgettable moment of our luxury wedding event. From candid interactions to the stunning design details, their artistic eye and storytelling approach ensured that every angle of the evening was documented with style and emotion. Their seamless presence allowed guests to stay in the moment while the magic unfolded behind the lens—preserving the essence of the event for us to relive and share for years to come.
