Over the past two weeks, our team has read and admired the many amazing love stories shared to us and have selected the top 8 couples to enter our Instagram voting competition kicking off on Tuesday, February 11th! There’s something magical about finding your soulmate in New York City—a place where millions of lives intersect, yet fate still manages to bring two hearts together. Brittany + Morgan’s story began three years ago when Brittany decided to take a last-minute girls trip to the Big Apple, literally booking the flight the night before they left. Morgan was also in New York City on a guys trip. The two both ended up at mutual friends apartment in downtown Manhattan. Coincidentally, both Brittany and Morgan were both from Florida. From day one, they never had to pretend to be anyone but themselves. They have always made each other feel safe, secure, and loved. Three years later, they’re ENGAGED! The couple returned to the streets of NYC for a romantic engagement photoshoot. Pandemic Romance: Love In Lockdown
Finding love during the COVID pandemic was an unexpected love story written in the most uncertain times. As the world slowed down and life shifted to isolation, connections took on new meaning. Karen + Andres love story started in the Fall of 2020, deep in the middle of the pandemic, quarantine and lockdown. They were both in the Florida International University’s Master of Accounting program, attending classes through remote lecture. Andres had his work cut out, trying to get Karen’s attention through a computer screen. Eventually, the two got the opportunity to get to know one another both in and outside of the graduate program. However, they both ended up transferring to different schools, mid way through the program. Despite big changes and so many challenges, Andres asked Karen on their first date….. and the rest is history. In a time when everything felt uncertain, love became a beacon of hope, proving that even in isolation, hearts could find their way to each other. The pandemic may have kept people apart, but for some, it created the perfect space for true love to grow, reminding us that even in the darkest moments, love finds a way. The couple were married In February 2023.

Some love stories feel like destiny, and for Justin and Kathryn, it all began with a single glance. On her first day at Airbnb Head Quarters in San Francisco, she saw Justin walking toward her, and in that instant, she knew—this was it. Overwhelmed by an unshakable feeling, she texted her best friend on that day saying, “I’m going to marry this guy.” What started as a fleeting moment soon turned into something real. Their connection deepened, and before long, they took a leap of faith together, moving across the country to New York City. Years of love and adventure led to a perfect November afternoon in Miami, a place that had become special to them over time. At the historic Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables, where they had vacationed for three years, Justin orchestrated a proposal straight out of a fairy tale. Their engagement was more than just a milestone—it was the beginning of a lifetime together. They celebrated with an unforgettable “engage-moon” at the Faena Hotel in Miami Beach and soon after took another big step, purchasing their first home in Coral Gables, the very place where their journey toward forever had begun.

Finding love on St. Patrick’s Day feels like a stroke of Irish luck—unexpected, magical, and meant to be. Amidst the sea of green, the clinking of pints, and the lively sound of Irish music, two strangers can cross paths in the most serendipitous way. Kayla & Matthews love story started at an Irish Bar in Boca Raton. Matthew was living in Ohio and Kayla was living in New York. They both made the move to Southeast Florida and became best friends, partners and now six years later husband & wife. They’ve built a life here in Florida, filled with the things that they love: golf dates that balance competition with laughter, cooking at home while dancing around the kitchen, and late-night walks under the stars, dreaming of our future. On a day filled with celebration and good fortune, finding each other was the luckiest charm of all.

Destined to Be: A Love Story Across Time
Kelly and Jeff’s love story was years in the making, woven through countless near-misses before fate finally brought them together. Despite growing up in the same circles with mutual friends, attending summer camp at the University of Miami, their paths never quite aligned. They could have met during high school Driver’s Ed—an experience Kelly remembers all too well—or brushed past each other in an airport, both heading to ski trips in Colorado. There were missed chances at the 3 Sons brewery launch in 2017 and a fleeting online connection when Kelly friended Jeff after his Black Lives Matter story went viral. Yet, it took 34 years for destiny to intervene, bringing them together on a Hinge date at Lagniappe in Miami ……. Proving, as Taylor Swift so perfectly put it, that “all along there was an invisible string tying you to me.” Their journey culminated in a beautiful wedding at the stunning Villa Woodbine on December 29, 2024—a celebration of a love that was always meant to be.

From First Match to Forever
After six years of being single, Laura decided to give Facebook Dating a try—and it wasn’t long before she matched with Joshua. Their first date took place at The Cheesecake Factory, where, ironically, they didn’t have cheesecake that night. Instead, they spent the evening enjoying each other’s company before heading to Dave & Buster’s for a fun-filled night. Their second date was on New Year’s Eve, spent on the beach as they watched the last sunset of the year. This moment became the start of a tradition they’ve kept ever since. On January 13th, they made their relationship official. Almost two years later, Joshua proposed at the top of the Eiffel Tower in Las Vegas, and of course, Laura said yes. They are now planning to marry in October of this year, marking the beginning of their forever together.

Friendship Blossoms into True Love
Lauren and Christian’s paths first crossed during a group interview for an accelerated leadership program with Allstate Benefits in Jacksonville, FL. While Lauren, a Seminole, and Christian, a Gator, were from rival schools, their connection sparked when they started working together. For Lauren, it was love at first sight, but Christian wasn’t ready for a relationship and they became close friends instead. Two years later, Lauren was dating someone else when Christian realized he had always loved her. Missing their friendship and adventures, he knew he had to act fast, so he planned a magical Disney weekend to win her heart. His efforts paid off, and Lauren and Christian rekindled their love. Five years later, they’ve created an exciting and adventurous life together, living in five different cities, including stints in California and Colorado, with their fur baby, Chai. Their relationship has balanced Christian’s love for outdoor adventures and Lauren’s preference for a cozy home life. Together, they’ve helped each other grow, sharing spontaneous adventures like skiing, hiking, and even living out of a van, while also learning the value of routine and grounding. Now settled back in Florida, they enjoy their remote work lifestyle, with Christian surfing and Lauren relaxing on the beach. Their love story has flourished, built on mutual respect, acceptance, and a balance between being each other’s best friends, a surf lover and a Disney princess.

From Friends to Fiancés:
Taylor and David’s love story began in September 2018 when they met as coworkers at the Miami Heat. What Taylor didn’t know was that David had already noticed her before his first day, thanks to a LinkedIn notification she unknowingly triggered. They started as friends, building a strong connection while laughing, working, and enjoying each other’s company. A kiss at Gasparilla in 2019 hinted at something more, but it wasn’t until March 2022 that they started officially dating. David always had a crush on Taylor, and after many attempts to ask her out, she finally agreed in 2022. Their relationship flourished with adventures, from traveling around Florida to enjoying sushi dates and playing with their Great Dane, Barkley. David knew Taylor was the one, and on New Year’s Eve, he proposed on a mountain in Vail, Colorado, where Taylor’s love for the snow made the moment even more special. For Taylor, their bond had always been special, but after they stopped working together, she realized she no longer wanted to just be his friend. From then on, they were partners in everything. When David proposed, it felt like a natural next step in their relationship, and in that moment, they were transitioning from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiancés.
