A Golden Hour Gathering at Pamplemousse on the Bay for Blanca and Geovanni
After exchanging vows during a courthouse ceremony on Monday, October 28, a date made even more meaningful because it marked the bride’s parents’ wedding anniversary, they gathered with their closest family and friends a few days later for an unforgettable sunset celebration on November 1.
Rather than rushing from one event to the next, they intentionally created a day centered on each other. The morning began with getting ready together before meeting their photographer, Danielle Margherite, on the charming streets of Española Way in Miami Beach.
What followed felt almost serendipitous. As they wandered through the colorful Art Deco neighborhood, unexpected details appeared around every corner. A vintage Vespa instantly transported them back to a recent trip through Italy, where they had fallen in love with the country. Moments later, they discovered a building displaying the word “Aloha,” a sweet reminder of Hawaii, the destination where they first fell in love. None of it was planned, yet every little detail felt like it had been waiting just for them. The photographs beautifully captured not only the charm of Miami but also the story of their relationship.
Their love for Miami runs deep. Both proudly Cuban, the bride was born in Cuba before moving to Miami at the age of five, while the groom was born and raised in the city. They wanted their wedding day to reflect the place that shaped their lives together by celebrating its vibrant culture, iconic architecture, and breathtaking waterfront views.
As the afternoon turned to evening, everyone gathered at Pamplemousse on the Bay for an intimate dinner overlooking Biscayne Bay. With panoramic views stretching across downtown Miami, the Port of Miami, the Upper East Side shoreline, and the sparkling Intracoastal Waterway, the setting was nothing short of spectacular.
Pamplemousse on the Bay proved to be the perfect setting for such an intimate celebration. The restaurant’s elegant waterfront location offered everything they had envisioned. Incredible food, breathtaking sunset views, and a romantic atmosphere. The space was so naturally beautiful that very little decor was needed. One long table brought all twenty guests together, while simple white roses lined the center as the only floral touch. The focus remained exactly where the couple wanted it to be, on meaningful conversation, delicious food, and celebrating with the people they love most.
The evening unfolded exactly as they had imagined. They held hands throughout the celebration while the bride’s mother and best friend shared heartfelt speeches that filled the evening with love and laughter. They cut their wedding cake and then delighted their guests with a dance to Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You by Lauryn Hill. It was joyful, playful, and completely authentic to who they are as a couple.
With everyone dressed in soft, light colors and the warm glow of a Miami sunset surrounding them, the evening felt relaxed, elegant, and deeply personal. There was no strict timeline to follow and no pressure to perform. There was simply time to enjoy one another, soak in the incredible waterfront views, and celebrate the beginning of their marriage.
Their wedding is a beautiful reminder that an unforgettable celebration does not require a grand guest list or elaborate details. Sometimes all it takes is an extraordinary setting, incredible food, the people who know you best, and the person whose hand you never want to let go. Pamplemousse on the Bay provided the perfect backdrop for exactly that.
