Finding the dress wasn’t exactly love at first appointment for Cristina. While she knew she wanted to shop in Miami, her first few bridal appointments left her feeling underwhelmed. That all changed when she walked into La Reverie Bridal and met Catherine.
“She made the whole experience beyond special,” Cristina shared.
As she explored gowns, she found herself drawn to the luxurious craftsmanship of Maria Farbinni. The designer’s fabrics and attention to detail stood apart from anything she had experienced before. Although Cristina initially selected a different gown, something told her to wait for Maria Farbinni’s upcoming trunk show.
The decision proved to be the right one.
The very first dress she tried from the new collection immediately captured her heart. The sample happened to fit perfectly, but Cristina still took the time to try on the entire collection. In the end, she found herself returning to that first gown.
“I started crying, and that was that,” she recalled.
Working alongside Catherine, the gown was customized to fit Cristina perfectly. Adjustments included lowering the waistline to complement her long torso, creating a custom neckline, designing custom sleeves, and adding an extra foot to the train for even more drama down the aisle.
The journey didn’t stop there. With the expertise of Gloria Couture handling alterations, every detail was refined to perfection.
“They are true artisans and masters of their craft,” Cristina said. “They strive for perfection, and it really shows. It made all the difference in my dress.”
It was the perfect wedding dress.
The wedding day itself carried that same elevated sense of style. Cristina and Eric were the only ones in white, while everyone else was in black. The contrast created a fashion forward look that felt both classic and dramatic.
Before the celebration continued, the couple made their way to Vizcaya Museum & Gardens for portraits that can only be described as iconic. Surrounded by the estate’s historic architecture, grand staircases, and waterfront views, Cristina’s custom gown looked right at home against the timeless backdrop.
Soft green and white florals completed the design, bringing an organic elegance to every space. All of the wedding details fell into place perfectly which made all of the wedding planning entirely worth it.
