For this year’s CONNECT event, Wed Society Miami turned back the clock in the best way possible. Inspired by the bold, iconic energy of Miami Vice, the 2026 CONNECT event brought the 80’s to life—from statement fashion moments to vibrant design details that fully embraced the era. Hosted at the stunning Trump International Beach Resort, the evening set the tone for what has become one of our favorite traditions.
Each year, our CONNECT event brings together Miami’s wedding community for a night dedicated to connection, creativity, and celebration. It’s where industry professionals step away from the day-to-day to build relationships, enjoy incredible experiences, and celebrate the talent that makes this market so special. An evening for us to truly celebrate the wedding vendors and thank them for all they do!
This year’s event came to life thanks to an exceptional team of vendors who understood the vision from the start. At the heart of it all was Jennifer Matteo Event Planning, whose team flawlessly executed every detail. From concept to completion, their creativity and organization made the entire experience feel seamless.
Capturing every moment of this evening was the talented team at Dolce Amore Photo + Film, whose ability to document not just visuals, but emotion, ensures this night will be remembered long after it ended. Guests were also welcomed in true Miami fashion thanks to the Dezer family, who not only provided the incredible venue but also added a signature Miami Vice touch with a Ferrari for arrivals—beautifully documented by Munoz Photography.
The design elements were nothing short of unforgettable. Petal Productions transformed the space with bold, vibrant florals that perfectly captured the spirit of the theme. Paired with statement lounge pieces from Elements & Accents and eye catching installations from OOAK Event Rentals, every corner of the event felt immersive and intentional.
As the sun set, MPE Event Group elevated the atmosphere with dynamic lighting that brought the entire space to life. The addition of playful, patterned linens from Something Vintage Linens added another layer of personality—leaning fully into the “the bolder, the better” spirit of the 80’s.
Interactive experiences made the night even more memorable. Why have one photo booth when you can have two? The Monochromatic Experience delivered a visually striking photo booth experience that has quickly become a South Florida favorite on one side of the room, while DIPP Photobooth kept guests entertained with an AI-powered photo booth on the other.
On the entertainment side, Curate Entertainment kept the dance floor alive with the best of the 80’s, setting the stage for an unforgettable afterparty. Meanwhile, guests enjoyed the adorable CakeTini’s from Let Them Have Cake and a specialty coffee experience by Aroma Espresso.
The details didn’t stop there. Paper & Ink Designs brought the branding to life through thoughtfully designed signage and welcome gifts, tying every element of the event together. And throughout that first networking hour, guests were left amazed by the talents of Matteo Cammisa – Wedding Magician & Mentalist, whose live magic added an unexpected and unforgettable layer of entertainment. To say guest were amazed by him is an understatement!
This was more than just an event—it was a celebration of the creativity, collaboration, and community that defines Wed Society Miami. Nights like this are a reminder of what’s possible when this industry comes together, and we’re already counting down to what’s next.
